About me
Hi, my name's Tim Andersson. I'm a music producer, studio engineer and mixing engineer working at affordable rates (please get in touch for a quote!) out of Soundarc Studios, Shefford. Having been playing guitar and writing music since the age of 10, I've grown up with my life revolving around music and I'm sure I understand it more than anything else.
Over the past two years I've found myself in many different studio environments, working on multiple releases, and expanding my knowledge and ability in the production process as much as I can. Going from producing demos in my bedroom on a high school musical microphone, to assisting experienced producers at professional studios, to now running my own sessions as a freelance producer at Soundarc Studios, I feel I've come a long way and learnt a lot at an exponential pace over the last two years.
When I make a record with a band/artist, my biggest aim is always to make sure every single part of the recording/mixing process is tailor made to suit the release at hand. I always want the records I produce to sound befitting to the band and their songs. I like to be as adaptable as I can when making a record, to make sure I make the songs have the best sound they can, for the music the band brings to me.
Currently studying for a BSc degree in Applied Sound Engineering at the University of West London/London College of Music, I am broadly expanding my skillset day-by-day and have learnt some incredibly valuable skills over the time I've been there.
I am very flexible in recording options, from live demos to full studio recordings, I relish in any opportunity to make music with the great musicians I get the opportunities to work with!
